On 03/06/2012 I changed over from a Gig for Gig package with @tlantic to a uncapped package. I have been paying R 199.00 every month since then. This morning my internet was cut off due to my cup being reached. I have been charged for the Gig4Gig and for the uncapped, a total of R 649.00. No one can still give me a reason why my Internet was cut off, although the R 649.00 was deducted from my account. I was informed by Ramano that they cannot reverse the deduction and can only give my a credit. I told him that this was unacceptable because I was cancelling my contract with @lantic. He told me that he will put through a request to head office but cannot guarantee that they will refund me the money.
I wonder what has changed since the implementation of the consumer act. Companies like @lantic is still overcharging customers and then refuses to pay out differences.
