Mweb has cut off my internet account without warning.
When I phoned the technical department to find out what might be the problem all that they could state was that I have been throttled down to a speed that is unusable to even do internet banking or book a flight as it is primarily a business account. (The data transfer rate is so slow an internet page cannot even open.)
When I inquired further info, all that was said to me is that it will go away if I upgrade my account to a faster UNCAPPED (my account that is already uncapped) package! The technician then continued to tell me that he did not have any info on the current acceptable usage for my package and that my account will remain unusable till the throttling period has been completed unless I upgrade my account.
I find this unacceptable as it is an uncapped package that I am paying for and now cannot even use to receive my emails or do my banking. I have had to resort to buying a vodacom 3g dongle so that I can complete my transactions and carry on with my business functions.
If this matter is not addressed soon I will be taking my business elsewhere.
