I purchased a once off BIS service for my prepaid account. After waiting for more than 4 hours for it to be activated, I called the call centre and spoke with Lindiwe or Bongiwe (very unclear connection). She told me that there is a BIS service problem and that they could not assist me until the issue is sorted out and suggested I call back later. When I asked how much later to call back, she arrogantly told me that she already answered my question. It is now twelve hours later and still no activation. I am wondering if CellC will sort out their BIS problems before the weekend is over. When I called the call centre again, I gave up after 34 minutes. I guess CellC has to make up for their service incompetence by offering their unhappy customers free weekend airtime and cheaper bundles than their competition.
