Telkom Line disconnected by arrogant tech, WHY???

Frustrated by TELKOM technician's arrogance (THULANI) and my line was not even reported as faulty, at about 11AM on Saturday, i heard a noise in my backyard as i looked through my kitchen window i saw a guy at the telephone poles obviously a TELKOM Tech as he was at the pole for telephone lines, when i approached him to tell him that those lines belong to my phone & that my phone line was suddenly dead, he in an arrogant tone told me to report my phone if it was faulty & that he wasn't busy with my lines. I mean why should i have to report my phone line if there was nothing wrong with it before the had fiddled with my lines. Whats more frustrating is that he even told me to report him, when i came out to ask he's name to report him as per he's instructions he stuttered & gave me he's name as Thulani (if that is he's real name- makes u wonder what TELKOM hires these days). Now I cannot make OR receive any calls for the rest of the weekend & who knows maybe even longer because of TELKOM's incompetent technicians not that we don't have cellphones to make calls, but why should i have to go through this trouble NOW. REALLY! is this what TELKOM calls service...
