I recently upgraded my cell c phone contract from top up to a contract using the call centre. And am Regretting it.

Issue 1:
At no point was i told that i would lose my R500 airtime from my old top up contract balance, but thats not all; immediately after the call i got topped up with my monthly amount of R235. Which all disappeared the following day, my new contract kicked in, before i even received my phone. (R235 for less than 24 hrs!!??)
I contacted the call center to dispute this, was told i would receive an answer within 48 working hours by Nomasonto who had consulted her supervisor Kelvin. I called back more than 48 working hours later and when Kelvin eventually called back, still had no answer. Its now about 148 working hours later and still waiting.
Cell C rating: 0!!!

Issue 2:
More than 4 hrs accumulated call centre time trying to get new sim activated. Eventually got through, was told it would take 24 hrs to activate. Almost 48 hours later and still no activation.

So effectively i have paid about R700 (worth of airtime), am paying more for my new contract... so that I can use my old phone!
