Insurance on a damaged phone

We have been trying to get a claim form lodged with MTN insurance for a month!!
The phone was dropped at the begining of December and reported for the first time on the 11th Dec at the Key West Branch in Krugersdorp; this was made more difficult due to the fact that my account is in my companies name (that closed 5 years ago and after 6 attempts and 100 pages of information to change this from Meridian People Dynamics into my personal name have now given up)
We have followed this claim up on numerous occasions both telephonically, at the Cape Gate branch and again at Tygervalley Branch. You cannot speak directly to the insurance people as they dont answer the phone. This has cost a fortune in phone calls and petrol trying to sort out something I am entitled to. This claim form has been sent by email (3times) and faxed twice
Where to now- the phone at the repair centre within the insured amount- I am inconvienianced due to the incompetence of MTN. I have the top package with this organisation and would consider myself a good, loyal client.
Next step an Ombudsman.
