I was charged R105 for just a basic simcard (no airtime) by a Vodacom teller at OR Tambo airport, but have since found that to be a completely unrealistic price (most places are R10). I'm concerned that the teller over charged me and pocketed the money. I would like vodacom to contact me so I can describe the and resolve the issue. If however this is the correct price I would like vodacom to explain to me how they can treat new foreign customers with such blatant extortion and disrespect? I would also like an immediate refund and I will return the simcard. Should I not hear back I shall take any further business to one of the far fairer priced alternative providers for my future phone and broadband needs.
