I must express how utterly disgusted and ripped off I feel towards MTN!
24 Dec 2011 I opened a 2gig monthly contact with MTN for R149 per month - my understanding was that the limit is 2G per month, as this was after all a 2Gig monthly contact. For a whole year I did not make use of it, however the R149 fee was paid each and every month. I then started using the MTN internet again in August this year until mid December. I just went to cancel the contract as I no longer to wish to continue with it, only to find out that MTN has deducted R5200 from my bank account for the use of Aug-Nov 2013! With other words there was never a 2Gig limit; when I checked I learned that someone very clever at MTN made my limit R4000 per month!! I am absolutely shocked at their rates and feel cheated. Seriously, R5200 for 4 months of billing! Unbelievable!
