I called Virgin Mobile to cancel my contract on 10/6/13. Was informed last debit would be on 1/9/13. Since then further debits processed on 1/10, 1/11 and 1/12. Have called twice and e-mailed twice. Operators have acknowleged cancellation and promised refunds but debits are still being processed (Note that the contact number supplied is not the Virgin Mobile number as use of that number has been discontinued. Account must be traced by my ID number).
