I took out a new 2gig promo contract. I advised them to put limit of R50 just incase I went over. To my disbelief I receive bill stating that I must pay almost R2600! When I asked them how it was possible they told me that the limit only comes in effect when you "disconnect" your modem. I think this is a clever way for them to money from their clients.

My other data contract I cancelled as I also took out the promo but after a year the amount went from R149 to R350,

I would never refer anyone to Vodacom
