Phone not working and Billed for usage

A week ago I posted a report that my new iphone 5 was not working and kept losing the 3G signal. I have not received any feedback on what is to happen with the phone which does not work. Imagine my surprise when I received a itemised billing report with a charge of R2, 500 for internet usage:-) The 3GDOES NOT WORK. I CANNOT CONNECT TO INTERNET. How could I then run up a bill of R2, 500? Well it appears that the staff at the Vodacom THE GLEN shop had made a duplicate sim card on my account.
On Monday I requested the sim card numbers which incurred the data usage charges and I am still waiting. The debit order has gone through timeously today which includes the charge for a handset I have not used or will never use but will continue to pay for as Vodacom could care less about their customers.
Don't be fooled by their automated response that they will contact you to resolve as they give you one phone call to tell you they will see what they can do and then they do nothing. Also, it does not help taking names as if you phone back nobody has ever heard of that person. I have spoken to Eltino, Theo, Pierre, Patricia, Thandi, Qasile, Thomas and more.
