Vodacom illegally activated a contract which is now reflecting on my Credit Bureau. This despite me confirming several times telephonically that I do not want the contract.
The contract in question is an online application done 18 November, illegally activated 23 December, never cancelled by any of the consultants I spoke with.
They claim they have a system which does automatic activation.
I did not even receive a handset and am being held liable for it.
This resulted in me not being approved for the contract I do want, all because for more than a month, Vodacom kept an application open, and none of their consultants cancelled it as per instruction. Now an entire process of a manual cancellation lasting up to five business days as quoted (euphemism for next year), as well as a Credit Bureau dispute, as well as possible charges to my bank account, resulting in requests for refunds.
Can you say #VodacomSucks, #VodacomSteals, #VodacomCommitsFraud, #VodacomOpensContractsWithoutCustomerConsent. Let's not forget #VodacomStaffAreIncompetent, and #VodacomIsABadServiceProvider and #VodacomCustomerServiceSucks
