I went in to the cell c store at Attlyn mall to report my samsung galaxy s4 which is faulty. The battery is hot and the phone keeps restarting once the battery has reached 50%. The phone is hardly 6 months old and it is not functioning like a new phone. The consultant at the store told me that the phone would have to be booked in and it would take 21 working days for my phone to be repaired. When I asked her what I should use in the meantime she said she doesn't know because the store doesn't have loan phones. I called the customer care line and they told me the same. It's shocking that cell c is proud of such a turn around time and is not willing to assist their customers in a speedy manner. Bearing in mind that when they sell the product to you it's immediately and they also don't compromise when it comes to debiting your account. I am shocked at this service and as a matter of fact I want nothing to do with cell c. They can rather cancel this contract, take their phone forever (not just 21 working days) and I will take my business to a provider that can place me in a better situation if I didn't have to deal with faulty goods. At least their after sales service will be better!
