21 days turn around time

I am utterly shocked that it can take 21 days to repair a phone that is almost new and should never have been faulty in the first place. I have recently bought a Samsung S4 and much to my dismay after a few months the battery became faulty and so did my phone. After hearing that my phone after 18days is still not ready yet I was furious. They have sent the phone to Samsung to repair, I personally think that the service providers are more than happy to sell a product but when it is faulty they throw their hands in the air and say there is nothing they can do besides follow the "process". They should provide people like me with a new phone as getting a "repaired" phone that is almost new seems like a bit of slap in the face considering how much we are expected to fork out for these luxury items.
