I renewed my contract in May 2013 upgraded to a better package deal with a LG Optimus 9 phone. 3 Months into the contract the phone stopped charging it's battery, I had to keep it on it's charger. I sent it in for repairs from the Cell C shop in Somerset Mall. 4 Weeks later we received the phone back from the repairs dept in JHB via the Cell C shop in Somerset Mall. After we had to call them numerous times to hear if they have received it, no service from that store either. The phone came back still not working, all they did was swapping out the battery, problem persist, we complained to the store and to the customer call center that we want them to swap the phone for us but neither party wants to do so. We had to send it back for repairs again on their request. I heard today that they sent the phone back from JHB to Somerset Mall not repaired because I declined a quote for a cracked screen, which is not the problem the phone was sent for repairs in the first place!!! I requested that they replace the handset, then this problem would have been done but they declined. Now I want them to cancel my contract, take the faulty phone and never to call me again. Shame on you Cell C!!!
