Sim card not submitted for activation

I've been to Vodacom in Century City on Saterday morning 9am and applied for a new contract. The contract was approved and I got my phone, paid for my sim and was assured the activation would be within 24 hours. I was assisted by Alex, who was obviously new and had no idea what to do. Christelle helped him.

This morning, after more than 48 hours and still no activation, I phoned the shop. I spoke to Lance, who kept me on hold for a long time while checking the system, before asking me if I'm still waiting for my contract to be approved. Even though he finally told me that the system "was slow" and that they are looking into it, it was obvious that my sim activation was never submitted. I was told it could take 8 hours still, but since the system was slow, it might be even more than that.

I am so frustrated with the incompetence of the Vodashop assistants. I dont know why Vodacom employ these people. There just always seems to be an issue. Now I'm still waiting...
