My BlackBerry 9900 is not even one year old and all of a sudden I cannot send sms, bbm or WhatsApp messages. After every letter I type it just sends the "message" (letter/s) automatically. In addition I cannot just go out one function as it keeps on returning to the function itself doesn't matter what I press. I have rebooted it numerous times and even took out the sim card. We are currently in Cape St Francis, Eastern Cape and will only return to Pretoria 11 Jan 2014. Needless to say I will be beyond frustrated by then. I went to Jeffry's Bay's Vodashop just to learn that they don't even have the basic service of re-loading software to see whether it eliminates the problem. No, I will have to go to Port Elizabeth for the closest Vodacare - my cost - or they will send it to PE which may take about two weeks. No, it cannot be guaranteed that I'll get the phone back before we leave and no, the no longer give loan phones. Swell, in-spite of having insurance on the thing I'm stuck with it or will have to drive 2 hrs (return) and still look for the place as I do not know PE. Can you not at least render some basic services in remote areas?
