1. It will take 1 month for a new address to reflect (even though I've asked for this change over a YEAR ago)
2. After inputting your ID number and Telephone details when calling the Telkom helpline, the still ask for the same information. Whats the point of inputting this info? By the time my call is answered the call center person should know who they're talking to with their details called up on screen already. Inefficient to the core!

Changed address a year and a half ago which meant that my telephone number had to change according to the location. The address reflected on the OLD website. Now that Telkom has updated their website with it's still as inefficient as ever! The address has reverted to the old one - only knows how.

This has affected my chances of giving this to the bank for application of a loan and a whole host of paperwork because it takes a MONTH for the 1 and a half year "NEW" address to reflect. Thanks Helkom for being so much shittier in it's experience of a service provider. Companies and banks requirements of utility bills should be axed as any government run company is a.
