WRONG ACCOUNT DETAILS NOW THEY WANT TO HAND OVER?

Telkom have no idea what is going on with there accounts. Almost a year later and my friend gets handed over for an account that she had transferred.
To make matters worse, when we asked for the documentation found that they had the wrong billing address and the application form had the correct billing address. Lawyers where given one amount and collection agents another - but the telephone number was always the same. The account with the most recent details was settled but now the lawyers still want the account that was given to them paid as well. I don't understand this? Now it appears there was TWO separate account numbers for the same telephone number? The kind lady at the collections agency could not even get clarity on this from TELKOM themselves!
My friend works in Afghanistan and cannot sort this out herself. And I feel that this was never her fault as the details were given correctly and was awaiting a final bill to pay, but left for Afghanistan in January last year before receiving anything.

PLEASE HELP???
