I received a letter from an Attorney to tell me that Telkom has handed my business over for an account I haven't paid. I contacted the Attorney and of course they don't have the information, they just do what they are told. I logged 2 queries with Telkom regarding this and finally today, I made another phone call to see if someone can assist me. I was then informed that I now suddenly have 2 Telkom accounts for my business as 1 has been opened for our smart call number. This was news to me as I have never received an account for this smart number and took it I am still paying one account. I then find out Telkom has the postal address details etc all incorrect and therefore I am not getting the account. They now tell me we have to go back to the branch where we already qd for 3 hours to obtain a copy of the account and the owner of the company has to go to Telkom to change the details that they incorrectly processed. Madness, utter madness. Who has time to sit at Telkom all day to get an account and change details they up. Needless to say, like all government institutions, nobody will call back and we will just have to go and q again. After being a customer 20 years
