So I recently took over a new telephone line in January around the 7th. It took a while before DSL was sorted out on the line. On the 16th of January my DSL was sorted. That very night when I tried to connect to the internet it didn't connect. I phoned my ISP and they told me that there seems to be a problem with my telephone line. They logged a fault with Telkom (16th January - Wednesday). Almost everyday I phoned Telkom to get an update on the progress of the fault. The operators were friendly and helpful but that doesn't help my problem getting resolved. I think I phoned around 12 times now. It is the 1st of February and I still have no service. Each time I spoke to a technical operator, they told me that there is a technician assigned to the fault. They have no idea when the fault will be resolved so can't give me a date of completion. Each one of them said they will escalate the problem and tell them it is urgent. Not once has someone contacted me. I am infuriated with the service (lack there of), how long it is taking to get sorted out and the fact that no one contacts me regarding the fault. I refuse to pay for a service I can't use!
