Putrid Service from Telkom

I recently moved residence and had to unfortunately move my dsl line from MWEB back to telkom so that the number may change and I can move my line back to MWEB. My line has been reconnected and the internet speed is the slowest I have ever experienced. I called and logged a fault. When I called again recently to get the progress on the fault, the automated message tells me that the fault is resolved but my dsl speed remains as slow as ever. How can the fault be resolved but the result is the same? I spoke to a call centre agent and he says that I must log another fault if I'm unhappy. Why must I now log another fault when there was a that the first one was resolved? Doesn't Telkom have any values? I bet I'm going to be charged the unnecessary callout fee, and they want me to log another fault so they can charge me the fee again. I WANT TO KNOW WHAT DID THE TECHNICIAN DO TO RESOLVE THE FAULT? PLEASE GET HIM TO CALL ME SO I CAN GO WITH HIM TO THE EXCHANGE AND CHECK WHAT HE DID TO RESOLVE IT. Can anyone please give me an alternative to telkom. I never want to deal with them again...
