I have a Samsung Galaxy S4. About 2 weeks ago I was prompted to download a Samsung update which I did. Since then my battery does not even last 6 hours before needing a recharge, even if I do not use it. I charged my phone last night before going to bed. This morning it had only 9% battery power left even though it wasn't used at all during the night. On investigation I noted that Android OS had consumed 99% of battery power. Surely this is not acceptable? The phone is about 5 months old and never had a problem until the Samsung update. A few days after the download there was another update which I also downloaded. How do I fix this? My phone is unusable.
