Turned down for an R89 contract after over 10 yea

I applied for a new 3G data contract at a cost of R89.00 per month on 11/12/2013. On checking if my application had been approved on 12/12/2013, I was informed that my application had been declined due to affordability. No further details were given and I was told that I could not take it up with anybody.

I've been a loyal MTN customer for over ten years and currently have 10 different accounts with them ranging from cellphones to laptops, Ipads, Broadband Wifi modems and 3G data. My account is never less that R3500 p/m and has even been close to R4500 p/m, depending which accounts are active. In all this time, I have never defaulted on payment and pay via debit order.

At one stage I was told that there was an approval limit of R17000 on my account and was encouraged by the Sales staff to take out additional contracts.

And now, I have been declined for a R89.00 p/m contract.

It seems as though I will have to move my business elsewhere as my contracts terminate. Are there any other providers out there that would like to take my business?
