R3500 instead of as contracted R140!!!

I have a 2GB - R140 data contract for over two years.

I get my bill for end Sept and it is R1800 (paid end Oct), for October it is R3500!!! This contract was suppose to end in August, I have spoken to a sales rep when he phoned in July to sell another upgrade. I told him that I do not wish to continue with my contract. He never advised me to phone cancellations to cancel!!! I have two contracts that are deducted at once on one debit order so never realised that it is still running. We have various WiFi adaptors in the house and this thing was still plugged in. Also - now they tell me we had an "open" contract! Do they really think it is ok for a personal household to spend almost R4000 on data??? Poor service, never receive notifications to let you know you have "crossed the line"!!! I refuse to pay the second invoice of R3800 and challenge them to find the recording where THEIR representative informed me to phone the cancellations department when in fact I told HIM to cancel it!!!
