Misinformed regarding BlackBerry Q5

I've been a Vodacom customer for more than 5yrs.
On 2013/08/07 I did a Handset Upgrade via telephone, which was a major mistake. I asked the consultant that I don't want any other phone than a BlackBerry because of the BIS. The consultant didn't inform me about the extra costs relating to the Handset etc. After phoning Vodacom's Customer Care to make 100% sure about the costs etc, I was informed that because I'm paying for BIS I wouldn't be charged for "extra" data. After receiving my Invoice last night I discovered that my bill is R2000.00 (R600.00 contract and R1400.00 data usage). I try to phone Customer Care (082111, 0821946, 0821958, 0821959) this morning, after a few unsucsesfull attempts I decided to contact my nearest Vodacom Branch. The consultant was very helpfull an informed me that on the Q5 - you don't pay BIS and that updates are running at the background etc. During the week I'm @ work and on Wi-Fi for more than 8hrs. The Q5 does frequent software updates and thats takes a lot of data. I'm not even downloading stuff!
