Every month, I make arrangements to pay my MTN account on the 15th of the month. I have done this a few days ago. This morning, my Mtn service has been suspended. The only number provider on the Mtn website to call is the 808 number. I have been phoning this number for the last 3 hours. Each time I have to give up after about 30 minutes or so. The longest that I have stayed on the line was 40 minutes. Yet, to no avail. No one answers the calls. I have resorted to the customer care e-mail address as well as the online web service where you can "chat with a consultant". From both these I have only received promises that they will come back to me, yet no has thus far. What should a customer do when the service provider does not provide any service? This is the second time that I have to aomplaint about Mtn on Hello Peter. Why is it always necessary to commplaint before something is done? Am I not paying Mtn for the service? I would advise any would be customers of Mtn to think twice before signing a contract with them. They are full of empty promises.
