My cell phone was from my home. I discovered that the phone had been, when I received a large bill from MTN .The phone was a secondary phone which had been giving trouble and I had put it into my bedside drawer. I immediately had the SIM card blocked and the phone blacklisted when I discovered that it had been. Mtn has in the past set my credit limit to R3000.00. I have now received a bill in excess of R9000. How is it possible for the account to exceed the set credit limit? Why was I not informed. When speaking to the accounts people at MTN I was told that I am responsible for the account. I do not accept this. The phone was and I notified them as soon as I discovered this.
