I was travelling in the UK from May to Aug 2013 and my Cell phone bill was be debited monthly from my bank account. On my return to SA I found my phones sim card to be blocked. When I called MTN to find out what was going on, I was told that I owed MTN over R15 000 rand. My credit limit with MTN is only R3600.00. When reaching my credit limit, my account should have been blocked It apparently was not and I am now told that I must pay in excess of R18 000.00 to be able to use my phone again.
Please can this be resolved as I am a pensioner and cannot afford that kind of payment.
