8ta used a company called Cell Direct to contact me about the upgrade to my cellphone contract which I have with 8ta. After Cell Direct concluded the upgrade over the phone they provided 8ta with details of the contract and what we had agreed. To my dismay 8ta captured the contract which was upgraded wrongly, with the effect that I was to be charged just over double what was due to 8ta.

In anticipation to this overcharging I actively engaged 8ta to get them to sort out my billing and this has not happened, instead I am being subjected to their inefficient and slow processes of 'wait and see' and 'call us tomorrow'. The manner in which the upgrade to my cellphone contract was captured by 8ta prejudices me and has the effect of 8ta being unduly enriched. I as to how a contract that was supposed to be R199pm is now billed, and debited of my bank account, for R656.50 is beyond me.

I regret the day I upgraded this contract with 8ta/Telkom Mobile.
