Brand new iphone, less than 1 month old. Was supplied to me by Cellucity on an outsurance claim. Phone faulty. Warranty is covered by Vodacom. I work overseas and must now return for work without a cell phone, I will also incur expenses due to the fact that I cannot use wifi apps too contact my family and business associates and will have to pay exhorbitent cell phone rates.
I have 4 contracts with Vodacom, have spent a fortune with them over the many years, and notwithstanding the above expense that I must incur, Vodacom refuse to pay the courier charges to get the cell phone once repaired back to me in the Middle East! Why should I foot the bill for this Where are my consumer rights? Vodacom profit from the sale of the phone but take no responsibility for the fact that it is faulty... This is unacceptable shoddy customer service! Especially as Apple warranty makes allowance for courier costs in a situation like this.
