I bought an Iphone 5 a few months ago through Vodacom on a talk 500 contract.
From day 1 the battery life was absolutely shocking.
For a couple of months, the battery life lasted no longer than 4 hours between charges.
For the last 2 months, the battery lasts - 1 hour.
In month 2 of receiving the handset, the menu button on the bottom completely stopped working.
In order for it to work, you had to push down on the button rather vigorously
After a while the screen started to lift off the phone.
The phone is clearly faulty.
I took the phone into Vodacom repairs and they called me back stating that the phone is out of warranty and they are quoting R3 400.00 to repair it because of physical damage.
This is utter nonsense and Vodacom are just looking to get out of a warranty claim.
Vodacom do not care about their clients who spend thousands per month.
DO NOT take out contracts with these!!
