8ta / Telkom Mobile
LTE Route

On 23 November 2013, I signed up for a LTE contract (R399 pm for 10 gigs per month) at your store in Canal Walk. My contract was approved and I received a router and a sim card. Upon signing the contract, I was told by the staff that if anything is faulty I could take it back and they'd replace it, provided it was within 7 days. When setting up the router at home, I then placed the SIM card in the slot as shown on the instructions manual. The SIM card then got stuck, because the SIM card was not the right size. I received a micro SIM from your store, yet the router required a normal sized SIM. The problem is two bound: (1) your instructions manual does not state what type of SIM card should be placed into the router. (2) your staff is supposed to know what SIM should be placed in the router - therefore I should've received a normal SIM card.

I then returned the router to the store in Canal Walk, thinking that they would replace the router with a new one (as was promised to me.) I was then told that because this was physical damage caused by me they couldn't replace it and had to send it off to be fixed and I would have to wait 21 days for this to be fixed.
