Traveling without service

I am traveling in Kenya, Nigeria and Ghana and my phone has been placed on soft lock to protect me from or call limit reached. Now I cannot contact them but they keep on assisting that I should phone them if I have any problems. They requested a payment and this was done in order to open my phone but still the same message "your phone has been blocked please contact customer services". They requested information to make sure It is me via email, but still no luck. I can. Only contact them via email to the customer service centre and then only get replies of we are ware of your equerries and Nashua will contact me. I am struggling to go around without even SMS's and do not know what to do anymore, please assist?
