MTN Talks to Loyal Customers via Lawyers First

Today I received a call from attorneys telling me that they are calling on behalf of MTN. According to them, MTN has been trying to get hold of me and they couldn't. This is the same MTN I have had my main number with since 2007. This is the same MTN I have been a customer to since 2001. So they are demanding that I pay them (not MTN because my account has been handed over) money in arrears for my other account. This is the same MTN I gave a notice to about my changing banking details this time last year when my account moved from Nedbank to FNB. The same MTN who has been debiting my FNB account monthly for my main line. The number I PUT IN THE APPLICATION FORM FOR THE DATA LINE THAT YOU WOULD CALL ME THERE IF THERE WAS AN ISSUE. You opted to not search your own database when there was an issue. Instead you send lawyers to me. Since my R1000 plus monthly ARPU is peanuts and not worth the courtesy of searching your own database to find my number. And not worth trying to make sure that you don't the credit records of your loyal customers. A customer who is in the middle of applying for a job. Thank you MTN, you are so kind. I won't be renewing my main number contract either.
