Incorrect collection of monies (MTN account)

This company has been trying to collect money on a supposedly outstanding MTN account of my wife. This account was a billing error by MTN when changing from a personal to a business account. (my wife's company took over the contract)
SSD has been trying to collect this money for more than 2 years now. There is no money outstanding, MTN passed credit notes, copies of which were sent through to SSD, to no avail. My wife has even had her contract renewed / upgraded my MTN.
SSD has since been smsing myself and calling me demanding money to be paid. When I told the call centre lady that the account isn't in my name, and that it was my wife, she then asked for my wife's cell number. I told them that the cell number is on the supposedly outstanding payment surely? The lady says she will not take my number off the call centre database unless I provide her with my wife's number.
Seems SSD is just trying to collect money no matter what the circumstance, even though my wife has sent through all the info to supposed managers.
I told the call centre to please send me a lawyers letter so my lawyer can respond with all the relevant info, along with their invoice for doing so.
