Two years ago i opened up a contract at centurion mall. with them not having stock of the phone, i went to get it at menlyn park mall on the 21st. problems started when after the second month i started not getting the data bundle that was supposed to be included in the contract, after a few months of complaining, i gave up as the amount was so little (amounting to about R400, across the 24 months)...
fast forwarding to the 25th month, mtn were aware last month that i wanted to end the contract, i was then told (by numerous mtn consultants) that i can convert my number from contract to prepaid on the day its supposed to have ended...
multiple calls later, im frustrated that mtn has given me the 25th months bundle, and now has said i can only cancel my contract on the 28th of this month... this is horse as im gonna be charged for a month thats effectively only gonna last 7 days...
and theres still no certainty about what mtn is doing about my contract, apart from wanting it to carry on
