DONT SIGN MTN DATA CONTRACT

Please note that MTN is not acting with integrity - when signing a 24 month data contract, they make it look very cheep - that is until you want to cancel the contract after the 24 months - I went in on month 23 to cancel - the branch told me "sorry, you can only cancel AFTER the 24 months expired' - so when I went back to the branch after 24 months - "sorry were off line but will phone thru the cancellation' - at the end of the months - MTN billed me again (I now have already bought a new vodacom data contract and did not use MTN) - so now the branch tells me to phone HQ myself which I did - at the end of the 25th month - suddenly a very large billing from MTN - when I queried they say " the subsidy no longer applies and we have never received your cancellation' - NOW YOU HAVE TO GO TO YOUR BANK TO REVERSE THE DEBIT ORDER - NEXT MONTH - MTN JUST INCREASES THE AMOUNT AND AUTOMATICALLY DEDUCT MONEY FROM YOUR BANK - YOU GO IN TO REVERSE THE DEBIT ORDER FOR THE SECOND TIME AND SO IT GOES ON - THE MTN REFUSE TO CANCEL AND BILLS YOU EVERY MONTH HOPING YOU WONT NOTICE AND FORCING YOU TO KEEP GOING TO BANK TO REVERSE - SHAME ON YOU MTN - NO ONE EVEN BOTHER TO CALL TO FOLLOW UP
