Worst experience from a SA company in a long time

I've been due a handset upgrade since the beginning of Oct & knowing that a new iPhone model was to be release decided to wait until the launch date was announced. After registering on the Vodacom website I was notified via email that pre-orders for the iPhone 5s would open midnight 08/11/2013. This however did not occur (I tried accessing the page at 2.30am) & many people complained on Twitter that the pre-order page wasn't available as advertised. I finally pre-ordered the handset at 06:15am on 08/11 and got a notification that a Vodacom representative would be in contact with 24 hours.

After bitterly complaining on Twitter I finally got an upgrade call on Monday at around 18:30, far beyond the 24 hours pledged even if you only take business hours into account. The representative (Sihle) said that the handset will be delivered on either Mon or Tues (18/11 or 19/11) which it wasn't and now with absolute pass-the-buck style (I've had to phone 082111, 0821950, 0821959, 0821955, 08217844) I've managed to discern that there is no stock.

I've been a customer for over 15 years, jumped through all the stupid pre-order/upgrade hoops and yet this the result?

I am bitterly disappointed.
