Unable to obtain delivery info on iPhone 5s orde

When the preorder opened at midnight on the 7th, I placed the order. I was provided a reference and advised that I would be contacted in 24 hours. This did not occur so on 12/11/2013, I contacted the upgrades Dept and spoke with Lesego who completed my order for an iPhone 5s - 32GB Gold. She then promised delivery between 18-22 Nov. Vodacom mentioned that the phones will be on a first come basis, so seeing as I was at the front of that line, I did not doubt that my order was confirmed.

Today 19/11, I tried to follow up on the delivery - what a run around!! First called 08217844, waited 30 mins only to be told to contact deliveries on 0821945. Waited another 20 mins to be told that my order was not yet processed!! Therefore they cannot track the delivery status and they are out of stock on the Gold phone. I was referred back to the upgrades dept. Could not get through to the agent Lesego and was advised that the matter will be escalated to the supervisor (Marvin de Walt) or the Manager (Denver Naidoo). Neither were available at my time of calling (infact no supervisor was available). I await a call.

I am holding Vodacom accountable to their promise that their Sales agent made.
