Terrible mistake

I went to the Telkom direct shop at Centurion Mall and decided to go for the Telkom simple uncapped 2mbps account. a Week and two days later the line was installed, very well done. But the problem I have now is that we were told that the adsl package did not come with an adsl router. It clearly stated that it comes with a router in the brochure. I decided to phone the Telkom customer care line and was told that I opted for the 4mbps package which I never did. Now I have to wait until Friday to phone and change the account to a 2mbps package which I feel is unfair as I never asked for the 4mbps package. I am very disappointed.
