I purchased a Blackberry Torch from MTN Randburg. I took it in twice for repairs within 2 months of purchasing it only to be replaced with a refurbished phone. How can I get a refurbished phone two months after I bought a brand new phone.
Secondly I went to the store on Friday and was told it was my fault that the phone was taken in for repairs instead of warranty assessment - I dont see how it is my fault that the consultant did not treat my case correctly. I opted to cancel the contract and Nonhlanhla told me she could cancel but I will have to pay for the phone for the duration of the contract. Why cancel and then continue to pay for a phone that I am very unhappy with. The consumer protection act allows me to return the phone and cancel the contract.
I need this issue sorted out ASAP
