When I signed my cell phone contract with MTN I signed that I would get R100 25 SMS's. No data bundles were included because of BIS being paid for by MTN. This contract was signed early 2012. Yesterday I accessed the internet (facebook) without airtime on my phone, having no problem browsing. Today I received airtime (R100) and within a few minutes of browsing the same websites my airtime has propped to R84.11. After phoning 808 and speaking to a consultant I was explained to that facebook and other websites will use my airtime (not BIS), but will use BIS if I am out of airtime. Why all of a sudden did you change my billing? Please rectify the problem and reimburse me for the airtime I have now spent without my knowledge. I am pretty sure MTN has never notified me that it will now use my airtime when I browse the internet.
