During September 2013 my family and I went to Namibia for the September School holidays, apparently during that time we incurred some data costs (R5000) with Cell C, which is funny because the phones data roaming was switched off. I reported this to Cell C because this was absolutely impossible, and they told me they would investigate. More than a week later I received a call back from them, telling me that I should contact who ever the service provider in Namibia is and state my claim with them. Naturally I found this unacceptable, it is not me who has a roaming agreement with those people nor did I pay them. Furthermore, my money was simply collected by Cell C per debit order putting us in a difficult position, and I want my money back from them! It was so very clear to me, that no investigation what so ever took place and that their answer was an easy answer to get rid of the upset client.
