How Cell-C they treat their loyal customers!

I went abroad on 12 June. I didn't need roaming so I didn't phone Cell-C and request my roaming be activated. While there, I used local public Wi-Fi for internet & e-mail - never switched anything off 'cause I didn't see the need (as I'm not roaming). On my return, I was informed (on the 24th June) of a bill of over R2600! It was roaming charges (data). I requested an investigation and my line was blocked. On 26 June, I had to phone to follow up. Nothing has been done and no case logged. A case was logged on 26 June only. After numerous calls, explanations, yelling, screaming, pleading, my line was reactivated again after a week pending investigation.
I didn't know my roaming was still on - I only activated it in 2010 for use in Mozambique for 3 days. Didn't know I had to deactivate it?! Cell-C offered a "payment plan". The option I'm given is to pay the full amount, including monthly charges for 4 months, over 4 months. During this time my line will be suspended!!! So, I must pay the roaming chargers plus 4 months subscription (which includes 100 free minutes, an 80sms bundle and BIS) without being able to use it!! OR I can pay the full amount at the end of the month!! Well done!
