I added a new cell phone contract to my exixting one. I then requested to the sales Consultant on sight (Benedict Mashiane) to insure the handset as my younger brother was going to be the user of the new Handset. The Consultant did so and then issued me with a copy of the insurance contract being 24 Hour Mobility. A couple of months later my younger brothers handset got and then phoned the insurance company and their response to me was that the Policy does not exist. I then went to the outlet where i got the phone, All the in-store consultant gave me the rounda-bout. I then engaged in some personal research - and it concluded that the insurance policy was captured and never sent to the insurer (24 Hour Mobility), hence the consultants gave me the rounda bout. I further contacted MTN on their facebook page so that this issue could receive some attention. They Did respond however shifting blame to the insurer who rejected my claim, on which grounds i do not l know because i was never insured with him, MTN must replace the handset as their incompetent staff did not complete the transaction accordingly.
