I recently filed a claim for a Blackberry Z10 that was lost. After follow up the claim was settled and i received my new handset a Blackberry Z10 the same day. Exccellent service.
My complaint however are as follows ; My Policy stated that in the event of a claim that my handset wil be replaced with the same model unless not available or discontinued. Only then i wil have the oppertunity to get another handset, witch is acceptable. During my claim i asked as to the possibillity to change handset to another make. They then offered me the oppertunity for another Lower Blackberry only and not another make. Why wil i downgrade and pay the same subscription? Firstly they chose to overule the policy by giving me the oppertunity to another handset while my claimed handset is stil available. I was not given the oppertunity to choose another make handset of the same value. And then to top it all, i was under insured in a matter of few week, the hanset price went up with over R200-00 due to popularrity, witch i had to pay on top of my access.
Looks like they conveniently overule policy's to suit them selves.
This can only be bad for bussiness. I canccelled my policy with immediate effect.
