I lost my handset and then went to the police station to file a report, since I was in Limpopo at the time due to work commitments I did not have any form of identification on me and they said i must come back with my ID or drivers licence, then I had to wait till I could come back to Johannesburg to file a report then when I sent the claim to the insurance they declined my claim stating that the phone was not reported within 48 hours. The claim from states that the phone must be blaclisted within 48 hours and that is exactly what I did with my service provider. The saddest part is when I called to make a follow up with them they always promise to call me back which they never do, I am cancelling all my policies with them and I am never ever taking up another insurance policy with them. This is the second time I am struggling with a handset claim with 24 hour mobility.
