I recently parted ways with Afrihost due to lack of service or response from their support staff. I was with them for a total of 54 days and in that time I had nothing but issues with them and Telkom. I was told if I ported my line to them they would sort it out so I did, once done I was told they couldn't do anything about it I must talk to Telkom. Afrihost then told me I was on a slow line hence the issues but the line will be upgraded in 2 weeks for me, 2 weeks later I tried getting hold of them with no response for days, then to be told that no my line will now only be upgraded in July this year. So basically I just got to again just to extended my account with them, in almost 2 month of service with nothing but problems if I was contacted by the support staff 5 times it was a lot. I then cancelled my account with them and requested my refund (Double money back if within 60 Days) from them which I am entitled to by their websites guarantee to which I was ignored. This was mid December 2012 its now end January 2013 and since as a customer I couldn't get them to talk to me I guess I'm holding my breath waiting for my refund.
