Hi my name is JJ van Rooyen
At the beginning of this month my debit order to Nashua Mobile for my contract was returned to Absa as there wasn't enough funds in my account to pay the bill.
This was strange to me as I had made sure that there was enough money for Nashua to debit my account.
I checked again and saw that the debit order was now suddenly for almost a thousand rand instead of the normal six hundred & nineteen rand that it HAD BEEN FOR THE TWO PREVIOUS MONTHS since I upgraded my cell phone.
I requested the invoice from Nashua & low & behold I'm now being charged a hardware subsidiary on TWO phones.
No one ever told me that this would be the case. If I had known this, there would have been no point in upgrading.
The shop in Sunny Park where I did my upgrade informed me that because of taking the iPhone 5 my contract fee would be about R10 more than in the past. THAT IS OKAY, BECAUSE I WAS INFORMED!
I also requested that Nashua not soft lock me & give me two days to just query the bill with my lawyer. They soft locked me anyway.
I refuse to pay the hardware subsidiary on two phones ESPECIALLY after I hadn't been charged for it the first two months.
Thanks
